Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2024 architect of the year, Mexico City-based architecture practice Estudio MMX.

Founded in 2010, Estudio MMX was created as a collaborative team focused on spatial design at varying scales of intervention.

The office develops proposals which vary from design and installations to architecture and urbanism, recognising in each project a unique challenge due to its physical, economic and social context.

Recent projects of theirs include a campus filled with gardens for a housewares company and a museum that "consciously synthesises" Mayan and contemporary architecture.

Estudio MMX has been shortlisted in the architect of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
