Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2024 designer of the year, Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto are founders of Treviso-based Zanellato/Bortotto studio.

The studio's work includes product design, limited editions for design galleries, creative direction and interior design projects, collaborating with Italian and international companies.

Zanellato/Bortotto studio have undergone a longstanding research into the relationship between places and the passing of time, a connection analysed through the reinterpretation of traditional handcrafted techniques.

In 2023 AD Italia included them in the AD100, a selection of one hundred names among architects, designers and interior decorators who are shaping the international creative scene.

A recent project of theirs include a bed for Italian brand Bolzan, where they have served as creative directors since 2023.

Zanellato/Bortotto has been shortlisted in the designer of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
