Orgatec 2012
Dezeen promotion: Folding geometric lampshades by Italian furniture brand Artemide and Japanese designers Miyake Design Studio are among the products to be showcased at office furniture trade fair Orgatec 2012, taking place from 23 to 27 October in Cologne, Germany.
Each lampshade is folded from a single piece of fabric made of recycled plastic bottles, and doesn't need a separate frame as the fibres in the material make it self-supporting.
Other exhibiting brands include Vitra, who will be showing the High Work range of standing tables and high office chairs (above), and MOX who will display the steel Cobra coat rack (below).
Furniture company Bene will be launching their Docklands collection designed by PearsonLloyd (above) at the event.
The trade fair open daily from 9am to 6pm on 23 to 27 October and will be held at the Koelnmesse GmbH exhibition hall in Cologne, Germany.
