Dezeen promotion: Dutch tile manufacturer Mosa has announced the launch of two new collections, Mosa Scenes and Mosa Solids.

Mosa has added eight new colour combinations to the Mosa Scenes collection, each of which is available in four different textures, ranging from rough grain to powdery soft clay.

First previewed at Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile in April, the range is available in variations of 15 by 15 centimetre base sizes and comes in two colour ranges.

The Cool group comprises white grey, cool grey, green grey and dark anthracite, while Warm includes mid beige, warm ochre, warm grey and dark brown.

Produced with flexible and adaptable design in mind, the tiles can be used on horizontal or vertical surfaces.

Available in 12 new colours including rust red, forest grey and earth brown, the Mosa Solids collection was created to be strong and functional, and features an easy-to-wipe, anti-slip finish as well as a ceramic skin.

The manufacturer suggests that the Mosa Solids range is suitable for use in heavy-duty areas such as shops, schools and hospitals, due to its durable nature.

Tiles are made in sizes between 15 by 60 centimetres and 60 by 60 centimetres, and each is made so that joints are subtle as possible.

Mosa Scenes

Dutch ceramic specialist Royal Mosa presents a new tile collection, Mosa Scenes. An elegant and versatile range, Scenes provides the perfect tool to create bespoke wall and floor colour gradations and a unique atmosphere akin to the effect of magnified mosaic that gives depth and richness to any surface.

The collection was created according to Mosa's signature style for flexibility and originality. Mosa Solids is a new, specially designed collection that balances functionality and strength with the established tile expert's renowned quality, elegance and natural look. This series' unique identity is enhanced by its luxurious appearance, created by a layering in both the tile's structure, resulting in its pleasantly tactile texture, and its colour, which gives depth and richness to the product. The Solids range's deliberately rougher appearance was specifically created to be a perfect fit for its palpably strong personality.

This robust and dynamic range can be applied to a great variety of spaces, due to its hardwearing and practical nature. Its sturdy build – the Solids range includes options in easy-to-wipe, anti-slip as well as flat finish – makes it a perfect candidate for use in both heavy-duty areas and the contemporary home.
