An Australian office with 26 different types of working environment, a house for an art collector in Singapore and a red-hued sushi bar in Italy are included in the shortlist for the Inside Awards 2015 (+ slideshow).

Taking place as part of the Inside World Festival of Interiors, the Inside Awards will this year feature projects from 16 countries, and from studios including Cox Rayner Architects, Emre Arolat Architects and John Wardle Architects.

Other projects to make the shortlist include a hotel reception covered in sticks, the London television studio for Al Jazeera, and a showroom for a leather manufacturer.

Winners will be selected from across nine categories and announced during the festival, and one project will also go on to be named World Interior of the Year 2015. Past winners of the award include a Hong Kong restaurant by Joyce Wang and a Barcelona apartment by David Kohn.

Inside World Festival of Interiors 2015 takes place in Singapore from 4 to 6 November, alongside partner event the World Architecture Festival. Dezeen is a media partner for both events.

The World Architecture Festival's World Building of the Year shortlist was announced earlier today, and includes a ribbon-like chapel in Japan, a cavernous wooden grotto in Canada and an Australian house designed to look like a village.
