Dezeen wins independent publishing award for "elegantly made and truly engaging video"
Dezeen has won the Best Use of Video category at the Professional Publishers Association's annual awards for independent publishers.
Dezeen picked up the PPA Independent Publisher Award for video series such as Future Makers, our ongoing collaboration with Autodesk about the future of making things, as well as projects with brands including Moooi, Perrier-Jouët and MINI.
"Elegantly made and truly engaging, this is high-quality, creative video content," the judges said.
The Dezeen team collected the award at a ceremony in London this week, which was hosted by Mike Soutar, CEO of free weekly men's lifestyle magazine ShortList.
Dezeen is enjoying a bumper year for major publishing industry awards. Last month, Dezeen editor Anna Winston was named Business Digital Editor of the Year at the annual British Society of Magazine Editors Awards.
Earlier this year, Dezeen's social media editor Ross Bryant picked up the BSME Rising Stars award for Best Use of Social Media.
In July, Dezeen won the Commercial Partnership category at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards 2015 for our collaboration with car brand MINI. The Dezeen and MINI Frontiers project also won Commercial Campaign of the Year at the British Media Awards in May.
Dezeen Studio, which produces Dezeen's video content, was named Best Content Studio at the Digiday Awards in New York in March, and our video interview with Imogen Heap picked up People's Voice for best technology movie at the Webby Awards in April.
