Positioned at 79 in our overall Hot List and 18 in our ranking of brands, rental website Airbnb has changed the way we holiday and design our homes.

As the brand grows, it is setting up offices worldwide and using the opportunity to experiment with unusual designs. Starting with a pub-like Dublin office, its new offices in London, Sao Paulo and Singapore include features such as an indoor village green, bleacher-style seating and a reception desk modelled on a front porch.

Our readers are still not quite ready to forget the great Airbnb logo debacle however. The 2014 rebrand was widely mocked, with the brand's new symbol being compared to sexual organs among other things. Two years on, it remains our third most popular post about the company.
