Science Museum

London's Science Museum is dedicated to telling the story of scientific achievement through exhibitions and the presentation of iconic objects.

In 2016, Coffey Architects added a library to the Kensington-based museum, as part of a major redevelopment that will include galleries by Muf, Wilkinson Eyre and the late Zaha Hadid.

The redevelopment has attracted steady attention from Dezeen readers since 2014, when Barber and Osgerby's architecture firm Universal Design Studio completed a gallery space focusing on communications technology. Jay Osgerby and Edward Barber described it as "the most important" architecture project that they had ever undertaken.
