Ekow Eshun is a writer, critic and curator. He is chairman of the Fourth Plinth Commissioning Group, a public art programme in the UK, and creative director of Calvert 22 Foundation, an arts space dedicated to the contemporary culture of Eastern Europe. Previously, Eshun was director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London. His writing appears in publications including the New York Times, Financial Times, The Guardian, Granta, The Observer, Wired and Esquire.
