Afroditi Krassa

Afroditi Krassa is the creative director of AfroditiKrassa, a hospitality interior design studio based in London.

Krassa grew up in Greece and moved to London to study at Central St Martins art school and later at the Royal College of Art, where she studied under Ron Arad.

She became the first female designer to work for industrial design firm Seymourpowell, before founding her eponymous studio in 2002.

Krassa worked with DKNY, Ligne Roset and Cassina but it was an encounter with retauranteur Mourad Mazouz of Momo fame that introduced her to the world of hospitality and restaurant design.

Recent projects include interiors for the Itsu chain, the first branch of Dishoom and Heston Blumenthal’s The Perfectionists’ Café.
