Amanda Levete
London-based Amanda Levete is the founder and principal of architecture and design studio AL_A.
Stirling prize-winning architect Levete recently completed the V&A Exhibition Road Quarter project in London, marking the museum’s largest expansion in over 100 years.
AL_A’s recent projects include Central Embassy, a luxury shopping mall and hotel in Bangkok; MAAT, an art, architecture and technology museum in Lisbon; and the London headquarters of broadcasting company Sky.
Her ongoing international projects include a new centre for cancer care charity Maggie’s in Southampton, the remodelling of Paris’ Galeries Lafayette, the Monte St Angelo subway station in Naples, and two new buildings for Wadham College at Oxford University.
Amanda Levete was named one of the top 200 most newsworthy forces in global architecture and design in the 2017 Dezeen Hot List.
