Deborah Berke

American architect Deborah Berke is founder of New York architecture studio Deborah Berke Partners.

Berke completed her studies in both fine art and architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design and received an honorary doctorate from the school in 2005.

Deborah Berke Partners was founded in 1982, and has since produced a distinct body of work based on Berke’s values and vision. Recent projects include a tower for downtown Indianapolis, a residence in the Hamptons and a boutique hotel transformation.

Berke is also the dean of the Yale School of Architecture and an honorary Trustee of the Norman Foster Foundation. She is an active board member of the Yaddo Artists Residency and the James Howell Foundation.
