Ravi Naidoo
Ravi Naidoo is founder of Design Indaba, a design conference held in Cape Town each year.
Naidoo founded Design Indaba in 1994 and it has since grown to become one of the world's biggest and best-regarded design conferences, attracting leading names and emerging talent from Africa and beyond.
Naidoo is also founder of South African media and project management company Interactive Africa, which oversaw the first South African space mission and the marketing and pitching of South Africa’s bid to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Naidoo received the Sir Misha Black Medal for his contribution to design education in South Africa in 2015.
