Sarah Wigglesworth
London-based architect Sarah Wigglesworth is director of Sarah Wigglesworth Architects.
Wigglesworth founded Sarah Wigglesworth Architects in 1994. The practice focuses on educational, cultural and community building design, for which it has won many awards. Wigglesworth also designs thoughtful housing, particularly specialist housing for older people.
Wigglesworth was Professor of Architecture at the University of Sheffield between 1997-2016, where she led the DWELL project. She also writes and has authored two books and many articles. Wigglesworth was made a Royal Designer for Industry in 2012 and was awarded an MBE in 2003.
