Koko Restaurant by Studio Locomotive is one of three a dining outlets on Coconut Island, Thailand and brings back an old fisherman’s myth.

Phuket-based interior design studio Studio Locomotive was inspired by a local myth of a boat wreck survivor finding refuge in one of the island’s caves and is believed to be a pioneer of Coconut Island. With its modest and secretive exterior, KOKO Restaurant’s interior comprises of fire-flame panels and decorations based on a variety of preserved local produce aiming to revitalise old, forgotten stories.
