Cristina Celestino
Milan-based architect and designer Cristina Celestino is founder of furniture brand Attico Design.
Italian Celestino graduated in 2005 from the school of architecture at IUAV University of Venice and worked for multiple design studios, focusing on interior architecture and design, before founding Attico Design in 2009. Designing furniture and lighting that focus on materiality and form, the studio’s work has been exhibited in galleries, showrooms and events worldwide. The Atomizers, a product designed in 2012, has become part of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan’s permanent collection of Italian design.
Celestino designs interiors and displays for private clients and brands including Nilufar, Tonelli Design and Torremato. In 2016 she designed an installation for fashion house Fendi at Design Miami and worked for Sergio Rossi in 2017, designing interiors and furniture for the brand's new boutique concept.
In 2012 she was invited to take part in Salone Satellite and has received multiple awards for her work, including the special jury prize at the Salone del Mobile.Milano Awards in 2016.
