Design journalist and communication consultant Yoko Choy is the China editor of Wallpaper*.

Choy is an established design journalist, based in Hong Kong and Amsterdam, and has written for over 20 international publications. She is currently the China editor of Wallpaper* magazine.

As a communications consultant for brands, design fairs and creatives, Choy has managed the international communications activities at Beijing Design Week, contributed to the launch of Art Basel in Hong Kong, represented Mariotestino+ in Asia and curated various exhibitions at Beijing's Dover Street Market.

Choy's mission, as a multicultural and multilingual creative commentator, is to create and raise awareness of the importance of a common creative language and cross-cultural exchange between the east and west.

In 2018, the journalist co-founded Collective Contemporist, a creative consultancy with offices in Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Beijing that aims to start conversations and collaborations between the two worlds.
