Shortlisted for emerging architect of the year at Dezeen Awards 2019, Mamou-Mani is an architecture and design studio, specialising in the link between parametric design, robotics and sustainable materials.
From building a temple for last year’s Burning Man festival in Nevada’s Black Rock desert to realising a 3D printed bioplastic structure in Milan, Mamou-Mani’s goal is to return to the golden age of the master builders, in which design, construction and engineering are part of an empirical loop that once led to natural and spiritual structures such as the cathedrals.
