Shortlisted for large workspace interior of the year at Dezeen Awards 2019, Slack Tokyo Office by Suppose Design Office is Slack's new Tokyo outpost.
The office is inspired by collaboration, connection, and co-working with customers. It includes in-house workspaces as well as a guest area, where customers and partners can meet and work with employees.
Located by the Imperial Palace Garden, the office also features an “Engawa”, a zone used in traditional Japanese architecture to connect building interiors with its surrounding natural landscapes. It is the central axis of the office space, spanning the west-facing windows and the various functional spaces, meeting rooms and the cafeteria.
