Shortlisted for architect of the year at Dezeen Awards 2019, Studio MK27, located in São Paulo, was founded by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan in the late seventies.

The team, comprising 30 architects and various collaborators all over the world, are great admirers of Brazilian modernism and seek to rethink and give continuity to the architectural movement. Studio MK27's projects place value on formal simplicity and are elaborated with extreme care and attention to details and finishings.
