Shortlisted for retail interior of the year at Dezeen Awards 2019, United Cycling LAB & Store by Johannes Torpe Studios is United Cycling’s first ever flagship store and showroom near Copenhagen.

The store reflects the company's principles of dedication to quality, craftsmanship and an ambition to move the industry forward. It has the aesthetic of a futuristic lab, features mechanical hoists attached to the ceiling and white walls.

The interiors now accommodate a workshop, a bike-fitting area for customers, a product showroom as well as several meeting rooms and a cafeteria for employees.

One of the six-metre-high walls was divided into eight large display boxes, which have then been back-lit to draw further attention to the products.
