Shortlisted for architect of the year at Dezeen Awards 2019, Vo Trong Nghia Architects was founded in 2006 and is a leading architectural practice in Vietnam.

With offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, international architects, engineers, and related staff work closely on cultural, commercial, and residential projects worldwide.

The studio's work pursues new methods in sustainable architecture while maintaining Asian architectural traditions. Vietnam is a rapidly developing nation and its growth needs to be accommodated in a conscious and sustainable manner. Vo Trong Nghia Architects believe it is extremely important that natural energy and local materials are used.

Recent projects include a series of six triangular concrete pavilions connected by a low block of office spaces for Vietnamese telecommunications group Viettel, which has also been shortlisted in the civic building category.
