The studio's work pursues new methods in sustainable architecture while maintaining Asian architectural traditions. Vietnam is a rapidly developing nation and its growth needs to be accommodated in a conscious and sustainable manner. Vo Trong Nghia Architects believe it is extremely important that natural energy and local materials are used.
Recent projects include a series of six triangular concrete pavilions connected by a low block of office spaces for Vietnamese telecommunications group Viettel, which has also been shortlisted in the civic building category.
