Chris Wilkinson
British architect Chris Wilkinson is the founder of London-based architecture practice WilkinsonEyre.
Since it was founded in 1983, WikinsonEyre has completed a large number of high profile projects across the education, commercial and cultural sectors. Recent projects include modular student housing for Dyson Institute, the conversion of King's Cross gas holders into luxury flats and the continuing restoration of Battersea Power Station.
In recognition to his contribution to architecture, Wilkinson was awarded an OBE in the Millennium Honours List. In 2006, he was elected to the Royal Academy of Arts, and in 2007, he received an Honorary Fellowship of the American Institute of Architecture. Wilkinson also holds honorary doctorates from Oxford Brookes University and Westminster University.
