Dezeen Awards 2020 judge Farshid Moussavi

Iranian-born British architect Farshid Moussavi is the founder of Farshid Moussavi Architecture.

The London-based studio's projects include USA’s first Ismaili centre, Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland and a Victoria Beckham shop interior in London.

Alongside leading her award-winning practice, Moussavi lectures internationally at architecture schools and institutions.

In 2018, she was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her services to architecture. The architect is also a trustee of the London Architecture Foundation, the Norman Foster Foundation and New Architecture Writers.

Moussavi has also written several books. Her book titled The Function of Style, published in 2015, is based on her research and teaching at Harvard University.
