Patrik Schumacher
Patrik Schumacher is the principal of London-based Zaha Hadid Architects.
Schumacher joined Zaha Hadid Architects in 1988 and has led the global practice since Hadid's passing in 2016. The practice’s recent projects include the Leeza Soho in Bejing, Beijing Daxing International Airport and the Al Wakrah Stadium in Qatar.
In 1996, Schumacher founded the Design Research laboratory at the Architectural Association in London, where he continues to hold a teaching position. Schumacher spoke on the fixing education panel at Dezeen Day 2019.
Patrik Schumacher is a winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize for excellence in architecture and an academician of the Berlin Academy of Arts.
