Rhael Cape
Rhael Cape, also known as LionHeart, is an award-winning poet, spoken word performer and BBC Radio London presenter.
Poet in residence at the Saatchi Gallery, LionHeart is also Squires & Partners, the Building Centre and Grimshaw's the first poet in residence.
LionHeart's poetry explores architecture's connection to memory and mental health. His debut poetry collection, titled The Mute’s Rebellion, excavates memories of upbringing, social anxiety, masculinity, selective mutism and emotional vulnerability.
The poet and spoken word performer was guest editor for the Wellcome Collection's Living With Buildings exhibition and is also a TEDx speaker.
