Sarah Izod
British designer Sarah Izod is the founder of her eponymous London-based studio.
Straddling art and architecture, Izod works with a range of spatial disciplines from small interventions to large scale installations and immersive events.
Izod has migrated towards a conceptual practice akin to spatial storytelling after studying and working as an architect. She collaborates with brands to produce unique, narrative-based experiences. Her work often explores the concept of space and our emotional relationship to it.
The designer's projects include a hidden garden installation for glassware brand Nude and previous clients include Hermès, Dior, Moschino and various cultural organisations.
Izod was the artistic director of the Dezeen Awards 2018 ceremony at the Tate Modern, for which she created an ethereal performance piece.
