Sindiso Khumalo
Sindiso Khumalo is a sustainable textile designer based in Cape Town.
Khumalo founded her eponymous label in 2015 with a passion to create modern sustainable textiles and clothing. With an emphasis on African storytelling, her designs particularly focus on Women, Africa and the African Diaspora.
The South African designer is passionate about the #PlasticFreeMzanzi campaign and has used only natural biodegradable materials in her designs for the last four years. She also uses slavery-free cottons, peace silk, hemp and handwoven African cotton.
Her projects include textiles based on the African environment for IKEA.
