Gluckman Smith Architects has transformed a Cornish farmstead into a vibrant rural place to live and work for a creative business.

The proposal involved a new state-of-the-art timber workshop, conversion of derelict barns into studio spaces and a new contemporary house.

The client looked for an authenticity and sustainability in the design, offering longevity, flexibility and net-zero energy.

This project has been longlisted in the business building category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
