Longlisted for emerging interior designer of the year at Dezeen Awards 2020, Atelier Tao+C is an architecture and interior design team based in Shanghai.

Founded by Chunyan Cai and Tao Liu in 2016, the practice works on projects of varying typology, specialising in small-scale, renewal architectural projects.

Employing simple and elementary forms, clear proportions and sectional variations, the studio experiments with materials, details and combine different disciplines – architecture, interiors, product design  – to deliver poetic solutions.

Atelier Tao+C has been longlisted in the emerging interior designer of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
