Atkinson Hyperlegible is a typeface created for people with low vision, made in partnership with the Braille Institute.
The font has been developed specifically to increase legibility and readability for readers with low vision. What makes the design different from other typeface designs is that it focuses on letterform distinction to increase character recognition, ultimately improving readability.
The Hyperlegible typeface can also be used to benefit people of all abilities in situations where fast accurate reading is required.
This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
