Atmosphere: A Revival is a sauna installation by Sydney art and architecture collective Studio Rain.

The work seeks to promote individual and social wellbeing through the revival of bathing culture in urban areas.

A temporary re-activation of what was an iconic swimming destination in Melbourne from the 1920s-1960s, the project inspires ways in which rivers like the Yarra can be better utilised and experienced.

Through the project, Studio Rain endeavours to open a dialogue about the role of public saunas in improving the health and wellbeing of urban dwellers in Australia.

This project has been longlisted in the small building category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
