Range Design and Architecture has revived a forgotten bowling alley and bar in northwest Chicago.
The unsuspecting second-floor bowling alley and bar, once known as Northwest Bowl, is a new local hangout for residents in and around the Avondale neighbourhood in Chicago.
The design builds upon original textures and materials within the space, contrasted with a modern aesthetic.
Through different lighting strategies, custom seating options and palette combinations, the design offers a variety of spaces for visitors to enjoy.
This project has been longlisted in the bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
