Daisuke Yamamoto Design has created a Japanese fashion atelier's second store that makes use of raw materials.
Every day we see new stores being built, however, as many materials are used, they are also meant to be disposed. The firm's idea was to put a spotlight on the raw materials that are usually hidden.
The main material the studio used was lightweight gauge steel.
The usual steps of construction were reduced, resulting in time and cost efficiency; they can be easily disassembled, so are completely reusable.
This project has been longlisted in the small retail interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
