Studio FSJ has designed a family residence that embraces nature, sunlight and decent-living quality in Beijing.
This tiny house renovation project responds effectively to the challenge of updating existing structures in the historical fabric of metropolitan Beijing.
Through the addition of three skylights on the existing wooden roof, insertion of a function bay aligned to one side, and a sculpture-like staircase leading up to attic, the studio has infused the former row house with rich and lively imaginations.
This project has been longlisted in the small interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
