Spanish design studios Skate Architects and PMAM have designed a small purpose-built skatepark in Barcelona.
The project is about dignifying street skateboarding and the space skateboarders use. It's also about helping build the city with skateboarding, as a positive urban resource.
The result is a new public space for skateboarding, offering a real solution to the reality of street skateboarding and playing with the identity of a plaza.
This project has been longlisted in the landscape project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
