C.F Cafe has been designed by Dongqi Architects as an open market, with three bars for different types of beverages.
The studio created the open-market concept through creating three curved bar counters – one for bakery, one for coffee and the last for juice – to concentrate people in different areas and get them socialising with one another.
Stainless steel, terrazzo and exposed aggregate finish were selected as the key materials. The eye-catching bars follows the cafe's brand palette: grey and light pink. Overhead, three curved caps also made using the aggregate finish push into the ceiling, highlighting each area.
This project has been longlisted in the restaurant interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
