Naver Corp has designed a lamp that incorporates artificial intelligence so it can read and answer children's questions.

Clova Lamp uses image recognition and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to read picture books to children and help them develop interest in reading. When children ask Clova Lamp questions, an AI will answer them right away to help them learn.

The lamp provides colour temperature and LED brightness to fit various learning modes and to be easy on the eyes.

This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
