Case-Real has designed the DDD hotel in Tokyo, which aims to redefine a business hotel as a place to enjoy.
Most of the business hotels in Japan have turned into a place only to simply sleep. The designers wanted to redefine a contemporary business hotel for people living in this ever-changing society.
The hotel complex has a cafe counter with a barista, an experimental kitchen, and a former parking-lot that has been converted into a contemporary art gallery.
The studio defines a modern-day business hotel as a place to provide good-quality sleep and an environment to spend a rich time culture-wise.
This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
