Ferm Living has created an outdoor chair with a removable seat, made from 53 recycled plastic bottles.

Desert Chair is a modernist chair crafted from a tubular powder-coated steel frame in the colours black or cashmere, holding an interchangeable woven textile seat made from recycled plastic bottles.

The seat is available in four designs: soil, stripes, shapes or solid cashmere.

Suitable for use both indoors and out, the lounge design invites relaxation.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
