The Future Prototyping exhibition aims to inspect, question and showcase how the power of making is highly relevant in the twenty-first century.
The exhibition collates 36 international projects from multiple disciplines – architecture, engineering, food, product design, fashion and perfumer – all displayed through various mediums.
The exhibition design itself is based on a flexible travelling super-grid structure that carves away spaces to exhibit design content in any context.
To avoid the wasteful practice of exhibition design where materials are discarded, the super-grid design enables the parts to be demounted and re-used for future deployment in fragments or as a whole.
This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
