BOA has designed a lighting solution for Galeries Lafayette on the Champs Elysées in Paris.
The design encompasses a sensorial entrance corridor that draws passers-by from the Champs-Élysées and guides them to the upper floors of the store.
The studio designed a chandelier that glows across the huge glass staircase and on the balcony floors, as well as a fabric of light nestled in the tapestry of the historical cupola made of glass tiles.
BOA worked alongside with BIG and SRA Architectes for this project.
This project has been longlisted in the architectural lighting category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
