The new development is perched on a mountain at an elevation of 9,000 feet.

The new town in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains will be a home base for Summit Series, an ambitious speaker programme that attracts a community of innovators and social impact investors.

The neighbourhood is characterised by modest gable-roofed buildings, perched in the air on stilts that climb a steep south-facing mountainside.

The site is accessed by steel bridges that lead to their upper floors, and is densely aggregated around a series of courtyards.

This project has been longlisted in the housing project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
