iStimUweaR is an e-textile innovation incorporating flexible, washable and conductive fabric-based printed electrodes to create comfortable garments.
The garments can also provide electrical stimulation and massage to improve the wearer's health.
With a wireless app control device, users don't need to attach any adhesive electrodes to their skin and can enjoy the advantages of smart clothing, while moving freely and avoiding allergic risks.
iStimUweaR enables 24 massage modes for muscle strengthening and pain relief. It also records all data and can analyse stimulation performance and usage status for personal healthcare management.
This project has been longlisted in the wearable design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
