Fumiko Takahama has designed a retail store for eyewear brand JINS in commercial and entertainment district Ikebukuro.

The studio designed the display furniture, which gives a casual and accessible atmosphere for both men and women of all ages. Customers are given a unique purchasing experience by using a wooden pallet, which is a mass-produced product usually used in logistics.

The graphics on the walls and the floor, as well as the typography stenciled on the pallets, add colour to the space.

This project has been longlisted in the small retail interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
