Projectkin has created travel products to address the need to reduce the environmental impact of traveling.
Kin Carry-On is designed by Copenhagen-based studio Boris Berlin Design. Over the past three years, Projectkin and Boris Berlin Design have developed a new generation of suitcases based on biomaterials and bioplastics.
The hero shell material is a non-woven flax/PLA composite developed specifically for this purpose. It saves up to 2kg of plastic compared to conventional carry-ons.
This project has been longlisted in the sustainable design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
