Maison Matisse has collaborated with emerging and renowned designers to create objects inspired by Henri Matisse.

Maison Matisse aims to communicate and share the boldness and universal values of Matisse through a unique approach that explores how the heritage of Matisse continues to inspire contemporary creation nowadays.

The La Musique collection, inspired by the famous Matisse eponym artwork painted in 1939, has been created in collaboration with designer Marta Bakowski.

The collection comprises 14 earthenware pieces entirely made by hand by one of the oldest artisanal Italian manufactories.

This project has been longlisted in the homeware design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
