Louis Emmanuel Gauci has developed an exhibition to present sculptures of Native American artist Rose B Simpson.
The plan defines eight rooms and specifically positions all object. Each room enables clear viewing of a sculpture and veiled views to others through sequences of semi-transparent fabric planes.
Dramatically lit sculptures invite a visitor's progression through the spaces, revealing a dynamic, visual narrative with discovery of multiple alternate views.
The exhibition was constructed using recycled wood and theatre scrim fabric.
This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
