Designed by Dezembro Arquitetos, Mintchi Croissant is a São Paulo bakery filled with pastry-inspired details.
Dezembro Arquitetos, led by architects Marcos Bresser and Thiago Maurelio, aimed to design a space that emulates the lightness of the croissant.
A 90-centimeter difference between the floor of the store and the kitchen structured the project's composition. Just as seen in a croissant section, the bricks in the first layer are full of holes.
To carry on with the intended lightness, the ceiling has been covered by cardboard tubes. Brass details evoke the golden colour of the croissant.
This project has been longlisted in the restaurant interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
