Architecture studio EGA Erik Giudice Architects has designed a new national wholesale market in the city of Nantes, France.

The architectural, urban and functional qualities of the new market have created a symbolic space in the city of Nantes.

The project aims to create a facility that is both open and visible from its northern entry point and perfectly integrated within the bocage landscape, through wooded strips on each of its three sides.

Convivial and green spaces contribute in turning the market into a living space.

This project has been longlisted in the infrastructure project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
